Thomas Michael Carrucan (1892-1951) served with distinction in the First World War. Post war, he worked on boats between Australia and New Zealand for a number of years before finally settling in New Zealand and marrying Agnes Beryl Connolly (1904-1986). They had 13 children, thus founding what is now a very strong New Zealand branch of the Carrucan clan.
This photo shows some of this New Zealand family at a gathering in March 1984 at Agnes's home at 204 Point Chevalier Road, Point Chevalier in Auckland to celebrate her 79th birthday.
