1916 - Thomas Michael Carrucan Thomas Michael Carrucan (1892-1951) served with distinction in the First World War. Post war, he worked on boats between Australia and New Zealand for a number of years before finally settling in New Zealand and marrying Agnes Beryl Connolly (1905-1986). They had 13 children, thus founding what is now a very strong New Zealand branch of the Carrucan clan.
