1840s Robert Hoddle map of Parish of Nillumbik This Robert Hoddle map of the Parish of Nillumbik shows that a number of the subdivision sections have names allocated to them but not all. Thomas Sweeney has a 110 acre section adjoining the Yarra River. He subsequently leased section No. 6 of 810 acres, thus giving him a total of 920 acres to farm. An annotation on blocks 6 and 7 records "Stringy bark range thickly wooded". As supplied by Peter Cuffley to Alan Marshall for his book Pioneers and Painters.
