The family home of Kate Colman (nee Jones) in Warrandyte was primitive to say the least and provides a good example of the harsh conditions under which these pioneering generations lived. Kate married Jack (John Vincent) Colman, the son of Peter and grandson of Bridget Coleman (nee Carrucan).
