1996 - Wildflowers of the Burren The cracks and crevices of the limestone pavements in the Burren nurture a host of beautiful and unusual wildflowers. In spring, a mass of colours dots the landscape to delight the discerning walker. Varieties include Thrift or Sea Pink, Kidney Vetch, Mountain Avens, Orchid, Speedwell and Bloody Cranesbill. Postcard bought by Jim and Helen Martin when touring Ireland in 1996.
