The Home Beautiful magazine issue of 1st February 1940 contains a wonderful 6 page article on 'Sweeneys'. This is one of a number of historically significant photos from that article. Peter Cuffley has a copy of the original magazine issue.
The main residence was built on the lines of a Tipperary farmhouse by Thomas Sweeney.
