This photo, taken around 1890, shows Margaret Ellen Doherty (right front) as a child. She later married John Francis Carrucan and a stong Carrucan line has ensued. The photo also shows her mother Honora Doherty (nee Hurley), born in Co. Clare in Ireland in 1845, and her other 3 siblings Mary (Cissy) - b 1880, Patrick - b 1878, and Cornelius - b 1884. Honora and her husband Cornelius were both born in Co. Clare but migrated to Australia and all the children were born in Creswick near Ballarat (Victoria).
