1900 approx Lower Plenty Hotel Ned Kent on horse, Susan Kent nee Carrucan probably sitting on steps

Susan Carrucan (1862 - 1943), the third eldest child of Patrick Carrucan and Mary O'Brien, married Edward Shae (Ned) Kent (1858 - 1907) in 1881. Ned Kent owned the Plenty Pub and pubs in Diamond Creek, Christmas Hills and Bulleen and an orchard in Eltham. He is shown seated on a horse outside the Plenty Pub at Lower Plenty while we think it is Susan seated on the steps with a group of others. As he died in 1907, aged 49, this photo must predate that date.
