1917 - Ivan and Con Carrucan, children of John Francis and Margaret Carrucan

Taken in 1917, this photo shows Ivan Francis and Cornelius Patrick (Con) Carrucan, the eldest children of John Francis (Jack) and Margaret (Maggie) Carrucan of Cheswick. Ivan and Con were great grandsons of Patrick Carrucan who migrated from Co. Clare to Eltham in the 1850s. Ivan was born 30.11.1913, married Ellen Kiniry in 1969 in Melbourne and died on 15.5.1994, aged 81 years. Con was born 14.3.1915, married Clare McArdle in 1945 and died in a drowning accident 1.3.1949.
