1880s late - Patrick Carrucan and Mary Carrucan (nee O'Brien)
Patrick CARRUCAN (1831-1894) married Mary O'BRIEN (1838-1927) some time around 1856 at Ennistimon, County Clare, Ireland. She was 19 and he was 27.

Later in that same year of 1856, they left Ireland, bound for Australia. Once there, they joined Patrick's sister Bridget and her husband John Coleman in Eltham.

This photo, taken some time in the late 1880's shows an elderly couple formally posing for a Richmond photographer. Is this Patrick and Mary? Investigations are continuing.
