1914 - Richard Donal Lane

Richard Donal (Dick) Lane (1885-1966), the grandson of Patrick Carrucan and Mary O'Brien, was born in Eltham in 1885 but moved with his family to Western Australia. He was one of 13 children born to Bridget Carrucan (1858-1949) and Michael Lane (1876-).
He married Anna Maria (Mary) Harrington (1888-1976) in 1913 while studying in Ireland and together, they lived a long life. Dick eventually died in 1966 while Mary continued on until 1976.
