1942 - Con Carrucan Second World Wa

This photo shows Cornelius Patrick (Con) Carrucan (b 1915 in Ballarat), one of the children of John Francis (Jack) and Margaret (Maggie) Carrucan of Cheswick. Con was one of 7 children and was a great grandson of Patrick Carrucan who migrated from Co. Clare to Eltham in the 1850s. Con married Clare McArdle in 1945 and they had two children, Frank and Clare. Con died in a drowning accident in 1949.
