1908 - Bridget Mary Doube nee Carrucan

Bridget Mary (b approx 1850), the eldest daughter of Denis Carrucan and Mary Sexton, migrated to South Australia aboard the Charlotte Gladstone, dep .Plymouth 13 March 1866 arr. Adelaide 17 June 1866.
She married a fellow Irish immigrant, John Doube on 22nd November 1878 at St Ignatius Catholic Church, Norwood, S.A. and they subsequently had a family of 5 children - Henry John (b 1879), Mary Anne (b 1881), Charles (b 1883), Joseph Ernest (b 1885) and Mary Gertrude (b 1888). This photo shows Bridget Mary towards the end of her long and eventful life.
