2000 Bishop Jeremy Ashton retires at the age of 70 years

In November, 1995 Bishop Jeremy Ashton was placed in charge of the parish. Bringing a strong personal spirituality and a commitment to the local community, a driving interest in a number of ethical issues, including aboriginal welfare and an involvement in inter-church activities, Jeremy offered care and stability to the congregation during the 5 years of his ministry at St Linus.
