ERICKSON NEWS - CHRISTMAS 2024

This is the twenty fifth year I have produced this little Christmas page, and it continues to be an enjoyable yearly exercise.

To all our friends, local and remote, we wish you a Christmas filled with peace and joy and hope that 2025 will be a year where the world moves closer together in unity, tolerance and mutual love and acceptance.

Anyone who has been to our house will have seen the photos of the 4 boys in the entrance hall. The big question is - which one is which!

January started with our family friend Fiona over from England and staying here at 1 Avoca Crescent. Here we are at Mt Macedon. I'm on a crutch after my hip replacement op.	And here were are having a day out in the city of Melbourne

We also visited Willi and Cheryl in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens	And here is Fiona with Jill and Neil. She did make the most of her 3 weeks in Melbourne.

Lois's niece Akasha is leaving the opposition in her wake in the world of Bowls. Wow!	And who is that yellow bee - It's Annie!

Sadly I bid a final goodbye to my first cousin Lars in Sydney	And closer to home, we farewelled Lois's brother Neil

All the cousins at Neil's wake - Chris, Tom, Renee, Carla, Nikki, Dannii, Matt, Dave and Paul	And also at Neil's wake - the 4 boys with me

Working with cousin Peter Cuffley on his new Sweeney Family book	My great nephew Terry on his first day at his new school in Canberra. Tom and Sue and the family moved from Darwin to Canberra for the start of 2024.

Getting ready for my European cycling tour! Training with Andrew in Canberra in June.	And no sooner had I arrived in Luxembourg than I saw a facebook post advising that walking friends Justin and Sharon were staying for a few days in a little village only 25km away, as they continued on their never ending world tour on their tandem bike. Of course we had to catch up for a ride.

If you make it to the top of Alpe d'Huez, you have to stop for the compulsory podium photo	As did Harold, but I think I worked a lot harder than him!

Sadly we farewelled our old family friend Rosemary Wilson - a welcome visitor from England over many years and a host and wonderful friend to us on many occasions during our sojourns overseas	Tom and Sue and Terry and Jemima Erickson celebrate Jemima's fourth birthday in Canberra. Great work!

Our nephew Archie Erickson is having a great cricket season with Katamatite Cricket Club in the Goulburn Valley League	More Photos Please!
