THE THIRD GENERATION

Patrick and Bridget had six children, Michael (1828), Patrick (1831), Bridget (1833), Peter (1837), Martha and Mary.

Denis and Mary had five children, Bridget Mary (1836), Thomas (1838), Patrick (1840), Michael (1841) and Marie.

We follow the path of Michael (who stayed in Ireland), Bridget (who migrated to Australia in 1853), Patrick and Peter (who migrated to Australia in 1856), and Bridget Mary (who migrated to Australia in 1866).

Patrick, his wife Mary, and his brother Peter, migrated to Australia as passengers in the Guy Mannering, an American three decker clipper which plied the Liverpool - New York and Liverpool - Australia routes from 1849 to 1865. Read about this ship in Guy Mannering.pdf.
