THE ERICKSON FAMILY

The Erickson line came into effect when Elizabeth (Betty) Carrucan married Lars Eric Gunnar (Eric) Erickson in 1946. This family line may be traced as follows:

Patrick Carrucan and Mary (nee O’Brien) ↓ Bridget (1858), Michael (1860), Susan (1862), Patrick (1864), Thomas (1866), Mary Anne (1868), Catherine (1869), Margaret (1871), Frances (1872) and Anne (1874) Michael (Mick), the second eldest child, married Mary Sweeney in 1910 ↓ Patrick (1911), John (1913) and Elizabeth (1915) Elizabeth (Betty), the youngest child, married Lars Eric Gunnar (Eric) Erickson in 1946  ↓ Michael, Terence and Timothy Erickson

The line has the potential to grow quickly in Australia given the following:

My brother Mick and his wife Judy have 3 children, Jack (1976), Sally (1977) and Andrew (1980).
My brother Terry and his wife Diana have 3 children, Sue (1984), Tom (1988) and Eric (1992).
My wife Lois and I have 4 children, David (1980), Christopher (1981), Paul (1983) and Matthew (1986).

Our mother Betty was a well known and much loved person and we still miss her dearly. You can read her biography here.
