THE CARRUCAN FAMILY TREE
Over the years, descendants of the original Carrucan immigrants have
researched and collated information about their forebears. In the
1990’s two very successful family reunions were held in Melbourne and
Family Tree documents were produced for the various descendant lines.
As 2004 marked the sesqui-centenary (150 years) of the first emigration
from Ireland to Australia, something more substantial was planned and
executed. Another family reunion was held in Melbourne, coinciding with
the publication of a much more substantial Family Tree document, titled
DIRT
POOR ~ SPIRIT RICH: VOLUME II
This document is reproduced above in pdf format for everyone to enjoy.
In 2010, we embarked on the next stage of our work and, just over a
year later, we published a comprehensive family history entitled
DIRT POOR SPIRIT
RICH
As part of this process, we have added significant information to our genealogical tables and copies are reproduced here for each major family line.
